Mule Supported Trips in the Sierra Nevada
There’s something special about walking through the Sierra with just a light daypack and the freedom to look around, breathe deep, and truly enjoy the trail. At Red Cloud Mountain Guides, we’re grateful to partner with Red’s Meadow Pack Station in Mammoth Lakes, CA to make that experience possible.
Our mule-supported trips take the weight off your shoulders, literally! Hiking in comfort deep in the backcountry allows you to focus on the views, the conversations, and the joy of being out in wild country. The pack team carries your backcountry camping gear, full size tents for max comfort, and even a full kitchen set-up (including coolers) for gourmet meals at each camp! This leaves you moving comfortably and only carrying a light day pack each day. It’s a wonderful option for families, photographers, first-time backpackers, or anyone who wants the magic of the Sierra Nevada without the strain of a full pack.
